Pantry

Open during all center open hours

The cost of groceries for most families have skyrocketed.  Many families have struggled to make ends meet and have had to make decisions between paying bills and other costs with putting food on the table.  The food pantry, which works with the Food Bank of CNY, provides households with a large box of assorted food for meals once a month to help families get by. Each box contains enough food for approx. 5 meals.  Emergency boxes can also be made available if necessary.

There are also additional donated pastries, dessert items and other goods that are available to families at any time.

If someone is unable to come to the food pantry during open hours, we encourage them to call and speak with someone about possible solutions to this.

Community members are welcome to donate non-expired, non-perishable food items.

MEALS

Available from 11:00 am to 1:00 PM

Lunches are provided for families and individuals in need, 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Each meal is unique and prepared by dedicated volunteers in an industrial kitchen onsite.  These meals are open to anyone in the community and guests are invited to stay, eat and fellowship with both staff and neighbors in a warm and friendly setting.

These meals are for someone who is homeless and in need of a meal, or someone looking on ways to feed their kids when not in school, or simply someone looking for some time to enjoy a meal with people when they are lonely.  The goal of these meals is more than just providing food, but also opportunity to feel welcomed like family to the table.

If you are looking for ways you might be able to contribute, donate or volunteer at the community center, please feel free to contact us either through the contact page on this website or call the church at:
